On Sognegade 4 in a secluded corner of Mariager, you will find this charming, semi-detached house that boasts an excellent location close to everything you need, as well as a well-appointed layout with, among other things, nice, high-ceilinged living rooms and three rooms. Welcome.
At the beginning of the 18th century, Colonel wife Ditlev Wedelfeldt owned the property, which was then called “Mariagergård”, half of which is now available for rental. The place functioned as the barracks for part of the Nørrejyske National Regiment, and in 1897 a bank was established for the town and the surrounding area – it bore until 1927 the name “Sparekassen”. Despite the long history, the home is today in very good condition, to which a thorough renovation in 2018 has contributed. In this connection, for example, underfloor heating was installed in the kitchen and bathroom.
The house is measured at 115 square meters, and as you move indoors, you first arrive at a sizable entrance, which further leads you to the atmospheric living room with exposed ceiling beams, which thus match the facade’s yellow and red half-timbering. In the adjoining kitchen, the superb, classic style is maintained with tiles by the stove. The floor is rounded off by a room and a bathroom with shower, and on the first floor two more rooms await.
Immediately in front of the living room you have an excellent patio area, which offers a newer, sunny terrace and proper pumice paving. A true, closed oasis.
You settle close to everything you need in everyday life, and within a radius of almost 750 meters you can access shopping. In nine minutes walk you stand by the water at the marina. The local environment also offers forest and of course the rich life by the fjord.
